Hi! I'm Kerri!
I’m a content strategist & graphic designer and have spent my almost 15-year career in brand marketing and event roles at trusted and recognizable companies like Starbucks, Target, G Adventures and Hudson's Bay Company.
I planned my own big day of my dreams in 2015: a vintage French-inspired affair of 120 guests, for under $20,000.
Now, I teach awesome couples just like you how to plan a budget-friendly, stylish and personalized wedding without having to sort through a ton of information, feel overwhelmed with inspiration or spend more than you want or should.
I wrote and built Get Wed because I knew there were other brides out that that were overwhelmed with the planning process, the costs involved in everything 'wedding' and the amount of time that I had spend combing through corners of the internet for the actual, actionable information that I needed. 'Cause I wanted to host an awesome day and not pay for it months after it happened!
I live in Toronto with my husband and my son and spend my days helping couples throughout the world plan an awesome day through Get Wed and designing wedding invites, moodboards and more for local clients. I also love scouring the city for cool coffeeshops, playing with my Frenchie x Boston Terrier puppy named Winston, and daydreaming about tropical vacations.
