JUNE 20, 2015.

Hi! I'm Kerri.

I was married on a warm, sunny day in June, at a cute French bistro with 120 guests.

My husband and I wanted our wedding to be full of laughter and ultimately a really fun time for our guests - so we kept that in mind in every decision that we made - from the venue to the speeches and everything else in-between.

We opted to do a full buy-out of a restaurant after we discovered that many of the other venue options we loved would require a hefty price tag to bring in chairs, tables, glassware, etc. We figured, a restaurant already has all of that!

We did some traditional things - like first dances with our parents and a few readings during our ceremony - but we also did a few untraditional things too.

Things like:

  • Our dog Winston walked in the ceremony and was included in our photos
  • We upcycled an old globe to use as our guestbook (which now sits proudly in our living room)
  • We pre-recorded speeches and fun questions with each other and our parents and didn't see them until the wedding day
  • We hired caricature artists as a fun experience for our guests
  • We used a plastic guitar for our guests to perform an extreme 'air guitar' session on as a way to have us kiss, instead of the usual glass-clinking.

At the end of the day, however, there's only one thing that matters for your wedding - that you and your partner are in love and that your very favorite people are there to celebrate it.

I'll show you how to make your day memorable, beautiful, cohesive, help you stay on budget and ease your planning pain - because I went through it all too! I After my own wedding planning adventure, I realized that I wanted to share all of my insights with couples just like you.

So what do you say?

Let's Get Wed!

I share a cozy home in Toronto with my husband Aaron, my dog Winston and my son, Finn. We love relaxing in our backyard, exploring our city and checking out fun new food & drink spots.

I've always been into design and I love helping others bring their ideas to life. I studied Advertising & Graphic Design and worked in marketing and event planning roles at companies like Starbucks, Target and G Adventures before venturing out on my own to pursue freelance design and social media consulting. You can find me doing other things here and on Instagram here!

I live for travel and try to get to new places whenever I can. Some of the destinations that I love include Vietnam, France, Cambodia, Spain and my absolute favorite place, Sri Lanka.

So nice to meet you!
